Youth-friendly website Refinery29 is on the pulse when it comes to fashion and beauty news, so who better, then, to determine the latest and greatest in beauty creations?
The US-based digital superstar has recently shared the brands and products that are on their radar with the launch of the first Beauty Innovator Awards.
They explain the elimination process: “...after a lot of deliberation, some heated back-and-forths, and a few knock-down, drag-out fights, we’ve crowned our champions. Ahead, the 29 people, brands, and products that have changed the beauty landscape as we know it - and delivered some pretty kickass beautifiers in the process.”
The judging panel included Refinery 29’s beauty deputy editor Anne-Marie Guarnieri, Refinery 29’s beauty director Megan McIntyre, author Janet Mock, make-up artist Robin Black, Doobop founder Jodie Patterson, BeautyStat founder Ron Robinson, and Sephora editorial director Holly Siegel.
