Why Aussie actresses are teaming up for a cause

On Sunday July 26, Hollywood actress Rachel Griffiths and rising star Demi Harman are joining forces with and Hagar for the annual Style for Life Day.

In its third consecutive year, the national event sees ELEVEN Australia salons open up its doors to cut and style as many customers as possible - with all proceeds donated to not-for-profit organisation, Hagar.

Hagar works to restore the lives of women and children who have survived severe human rights abuse including rape, paedophilia, and modern slavery. Money raised from Style for Life Day will help to provide funding, training and economic empowerment to these women.

“I love that together, our industry can make such a positive global change,” says ELEVEN Australia co-creative director Joey Scandizzo.

Hagar patron Griffiths and Style for Life ambassador Harman will be working together to help encourage all Australians to book their next hair appointment on July 26.

“I’ve always admired the work Hagar does in helping those who have suffered human rights abuse. I’m absolutely delighted to become a part of the Hagar team and help raise the profile of the organisation and funds for those who need it most. I love the initiative by ELEVEN Australia to bring this to life,” reveals Harman.

Last year, 29 salons got involved in the initiative, raising $38,000 for Hagar.
