Noteworthy changes at L'Oréal Paris

Last week saw L'Oréal Paris making headlines thanks to partnering with digital innovators General Assembly, but now the beauty corporation is back in the news following changes to its team of experts and ambassadors.

L’Oréal Paris is saddened to announce it will not be renewing its successful partnership with Australian make-up director Elsa Morgan, with the brand’s communications executive Alexandra Campbell commenting: "Morgan has been the brand’s make-up director since 2013, and in that time has been an invaluable addition to the L’Oréal Paris family. We are currently working through some exciting plans for the coming year, and will keep you updated in due course."

On a more positive note, L'Oréal Paris has signed on Russian model Irina Shayk as the brand's new international ambassador. The 29-year-old has a number of high profile modelling contracts under her belt as well as appearing on numerous international fashion magazines. She is also currently dating Hollywood hot-property Bradley Cooper.

"Irina and I have known each other for over eight years. She is an irresistible super woman who exudes glamour and elevates the definition of beauty to another level. From fashion designers to millions of social media fans and followers, she fascinates us all with her perfect beauty, but also with her genuine sense of humanity and generosity. Myself and the L’Oréal Paris team are thrilled to have her as a new member of the lorealista family!” says L'Oréal Paris brand global president Cyril Chapuy.

Irina Shayk adds: “I am forever grateful for this opportunity. Becoming a part of the L’Oréal Paris family represents more than just being a beauty ambassador. To me, L’Oréal Paris has always been a brand that inspires and motivates the greatness inside of you. I am moved and honoured to represent such a beautiful message and encourage women of all ages to always feel confident and embrace their true self!”
