The Estée Lauder Companies has been named in Bloomberg’s 2019 Gender-Equality Index (GEI), a reference index that identifies companies that have shown commitment to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women’s equality.
The GEI index, which has doubled in size from 2018, features 230 companies and includes firms from ten sectors headquartered across 36 countries and regions.
Collectively, these firms have a combined market capitalisation of US$9trn and employ more than 15 million people, of which seven million are women.
