Measurement company D'Marie Analytics recently put together a list of the top social media influencers, judging each on their ability to generate reach, engagement and sales conversions from their social media portfolio.
Calling it an influencer's "true value", the company states: "You're probably used to just looking for the number of followers someone may have, but trust me, that will not get you very far, and may not provide the results you're looking to achieve for your brand when working with an influencer during a social media campaign."
To determine an influencer's “true value”, D'Marie developed an algorithm that compiled over 24 specific metrics from each social media platform to determine its ranking.
