L’Occitane Group buys stake in new brand
Obratori, L’Occitane Group’s start-up incubator, has taken a minority stake in Le Rouge Français, a vegan and organic lipstick brand, in an attempt to bolster Le Rouge Français’ growth.
The lipstick brand was founded in October 2018, and was billed to be the first line of lipsticks made with plant pigments, following 18 months of research and development. The ‘clean’ lipsticks were first launched online, and then introduced to selective brick-and-motar stores in France.
